About the Competition
On Saturday, May 4, 2024, the first BC's Best Butcher event will unfold at Hopcott Farms in beautiful Pitt Meadows, spotlighting the province's top butchery talent.
Competitors will demonstrate their expertise in meat cutting and preparation, and be judged by seasoned industry experts for a chance to be crowned the Best Butcher in BC! This event, celebrating local agriculture and culinary finesse, promises to be a unique blend of competition and gourmet delight in the picturesque farm setting.
Up to 18 brave butchers from across BC will compete over 3 rounds, with the three highest scoring butchers advancing to the final black box round!
